PLAST 2026 BECOMES THREE
Plast 2026, scheduled for June 9-12, 2026 at Fiera Milano, joins MaTec, the new exhibition project that brings together three events dedicated to manufacturing: Plast (plastics and rubber), Xylexpo (wood and furniture technologies) and Composites Future (composite materials).
The goal is to bring together cross-cutting skills and complementary sectors for an integrated vision of the industry.
In a context in which the European manufacturing industry is being called upon to respond to challenges such as sustainability, energy efficiency, digitization and new materials regulations, MaTec offers an integrated platform: eight pavilions, three complementary fairs, a place for the entire supply chain to meet.
The intuition behind MaTec is that many technologies developed for one sector can find application in other areas, for example among wood, plastics, composites and their uses in construction, furniture, packaging, automotive, aerospace, and marine. The “triple understanding” between Plast, Xylexpo and Composites Future thus becomes a collector of innovation and an accelerator of synergies.
Within MaTec, Plast occupies six halls and to date has about 800 registered companies.
Its offerings are complemented by the three satellite salons:
Rubber, dedicated to the world of rubber and related technologies;
3D Plast, focused on 3D printing and additive technologies for polymers;
PlastMat, focused on innovations in materials, a key theme for the future of manufacturing.
For exhibitors, MaTec represents a strategic investment: it enables them to reach a large and qualified audience, generate new contacts and strengthen their positioning.
3D Plast, focused on 3D printing and additive technologies for polymers;
For visitors, it means access in one place to expertise, technologies and solutions from three complementary sectors, with the opportunity to upgrade, engage with experts and build partnerships.
The appointment is therefore in Milan, June 9-12, 2026, for an event that is set to become one of the most significant moments of the year for the European manufacturing industry.
